Catherine Brown

Catherine Brown founded Initial Call in 2002. Based on her 20+ years of experience, she found that even when entrepreneurs have good sales tools they often still do not promote effectively. ExtraBold became an offering of Initial Call and is now having great success helping individuals grow their businesses successfully.

Catherine has a B.A. from Rice University in Houston and has completed advanced courses in Solution Selling/Customer Centric Selling and Target Account Selling methods. She is certified by the Behavioral Sciences Research Press to identify and interpret Sales Call Reluctance® in individuals.

Catherine is a regular speaker for entrepreneur forums, helping business owners to have confidence in their abilities to sell regularly and with success. Catherine and her husband, Ryan, have two teen-aged boys and call both Oklahoma and Texas home.

Frequently Asked Questions


How long will I need to set aside for homework each week?
I recommend setting aside an hour each week to watch the videos and complete the homework. It might take you less time, but you do not want to shortchange yourself in this process. Each week, I will send you a reminder about what’s coming up next and will include more specific estimates for how long each lesson should take to complete.
How do the coaching sessions work?
When you sign up, you’ll choose 1 of 2 available coaching times, either Fridays at 11 a.m. OR Mondays at 12 p.m. We ask that you stick to the same day each week so you can get to know others well in your group. Meetings are conducted online via Zoom, which works on all computer platforms but requires a video or phone connection. The coaching sessions are 1 hour each.
What if I miss my live coaching date? Can I still see it or attend the other date?
Life happens! If you’re scheduled for a specific day of coaching but circumstances prevent you from keeping the meeting, email me as soon as you can. You might be able to jump in on the other coaching day that week or watch a recording of the Zoom meeting.
When does the course start and finish?
Week 1 materials will be emailed to you on Monday, February 12th. Our final week, Week 6, will be emailed on Monday, March 19th. The final coaching times will be Friday, March 23rd, and Monday, March 26th.
How long do I have access to the course?
The course will stay open for 14 days after the final coaching time and will be taken down after Monday, April 9th.
What if I am unhappy with the course?
We would never want you to be unhappy! If you attend Weeks 1, 2, & 3 coaching times as well as watch all videos from those weeks and you aren't happy, we will gladly refund your money.

This course is not open for enrollment.
